“Railway rolling stock: problems, solutions, prospects”

The Second International Scientific and Technical Conference “Railway rolling stock: problems, solutions, prospects” is being held in Tashkent from April 19 to 22.

It is devoted to the analysis of problems and the search for solutions in the creation, repair and modernization of rolling stock, and also involves a discussion of promising areas for the development of the industry.

The conference covers such areas as:

high-speed electric rolling stock, motor-car and special rolling stock, locomotives, wagons,
dynamics, strength and reliability of rolling stock,
transport safety,
occupational and environmental protection,
digital transformation and socio-economic systems,
materials science.

Representatives of Transtelesoft LLC take an active part in the conference.

The speaker was Dmitry V. Volkovsky, Head of the Development Department, with a report on the topic “Integration of locomotive on-board traffic safety systems in the digital environment of train traffic management”.

This month, a set of equipment “Bort” has been delivered to Uzbekistan and is being prepared for installation on the locomotive.

The Bort system is actively exported to the Republic of Kazakhstan, where about 150 locomotives have been equipped since 2019. The interest of railway workers of Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan was shown.

Following the results of the conference by the Organizing Committee of the conference, the materials will be published in the scientific and technical journal “Railway transport: current challenges and innovations” (included in the list of publications recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan).
