Acceptance tests of the ET2M electric train have been completed

Acceptance tests of a modified DC electric train of the EP2DM model have been successfully completed at the VNIIZHT Experimental Ring in Shcherbinka.

When creating a new train, a completely domestic component base was used. Components for rolling stock will be manufactured by more than 80 Russian enterprises.

The work of the acceptance commission was attended by representatives of research institutes of railway transport and railway hygiene, the Design and Technology Bureau and the Central Directorate of Motor-car rolling Stock of Russian Railways, CPPC, Transmashholding, the developer company TMH Engineering, Rospotrebnadzor.

On the first-born of the series – the EP2D300 electric train, the Trastelesoft company implemented a video surveillance system, artificial intelligence of technical vision to determine the occupancy of the train according to the analytics of streaming video from cabin cameras, an indication to passengers about the occupancy of train cars, information boards with relevant data for passengers, LED elements of cabin lighting, technical organization of the free WI-FI zone “Internet in train”, numerous USB fast charging points with support for Quick Charge 3.0

The Commission found that the acceptance tests were carried out in full, the test results were positive. Design and technological documentation meets the requirements of a Unified system of design and technological documentation. According to the results of the work of the commission, the letter “A” was assigned to the design and technological documentation.
