INTERMETRO 2023

Transtelesoft LLC, as part of the TMX-IS group of companies, took part in the conference held in Moscow at the Academy of Transport of the Russian Federation from December 14 to 16, 2023. The V International INTERMETRO Exhibition and Conference, organized by the RUTH MIIT team.

Yuri Smagin, Director of Business Development at TMH-IS, spoke about TMH’s key products in the field of urban rail transport traffic management within the framework of the round table “Ensuring transportation in the subway: issues of traction power supply, rolling stock, traffic management and SCB”. He stressed that the company’s offer is unique in that it includes a full cycle of production and services: from the design and engineering of PS, to comprehensive maintenance and implementation of digital motion control systems. “If we turn to the modern level of science, then we want our train to carry additional functions and perform diagnostics of the metro infrastructure using cameras, lidars and radars. This is exactly the kind of R&D we are currently doing with colleagues from the Moscow Metro.”

In his speech, Yuri Smagin noted that the company offers modern automation and dispatching systems for tram traffic to cities. Currently, the trial operation of an automated tram-switch drive control system is underway in Moscow and a project for integrated automation of tram traffic at the Verkhnyaya Pyshma depot is being completed.

Dmitry Volkovsky, Head of the Development Department of Transtelesoft LLC, presented modular solutions for a single digital platform on the TPS based on the principles of building a new Bort traffic safety system and spoke about the company’s products that are already effectively operated in the subway and on electric trains: such as video surveillance systems, passenger information, intra-train communication, USB charging for mobile devices devices, etc.

Of particular interest in the discussion was the topic of import substitution, for example, video surveillance systems for the Lastochka electric train, which was noted in the VSM SERVICE report, the supply of a domestic monitor to metro consoles for new trains, as well as the possibility of using passenger counting technology for suburban electric trains on metro trains in order to optimize stop times and other solutions for managing metro train traffic taking into account the actual passenger traffic.
